About Our Sanctuary

We are a private rescue located in Eagle Point, in the heart of the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon. At Hero Tails we are passionate about animal rescue, and hope that you are too! There’s no animal too young or too old for us to consider saving.

Angel

Ah, our sweet Angel! It took over a month of work to bring this one to safety! Dumped out on a mountainside in Klamath Falls, it is truly amazing how friendly Angel is in spite of her traumatic past. She's great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and really just wants to be loved 🥰

Mo

Our sweet boy Mo was on death row, literally minutes away from death when we rescued him. He has been nothing but sweet to his foster parents and their other doggos and kitties! Mo would love to find his person, we know they're out there! ❤️

Kirby

Kirby was dumped and running around the mountains near Cave Junction for months. Thankfully we were able to trap him and now he's super happy living with his foster parents. He's energetic and 1 year old, email us if you'd like to meet him! 🩵

Cleo

Cleo's life is a sad, sad story. She was abused as a puppy, rescued, abandoned, and abandoned again. She is currently at a board and train where she's learning to love and trust again. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this precious soul, please reach out to us! 🩷

Riley

Riley is such a good boy! Super friendly and 11 years old, he has the energy of a much younger dog! Sadly his family was no longer able to care for him. He's ready to fit right in at his new furever home, schedule a meet with him today! 😍🩵
