About Our Sanctuary
We are a private rescue located in Eagle Point, in the heart of the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon. At Hero Tails we are passionate about animal rescue, and hope that you are too! There’s no animal too young or too old for us to consider saving.

Rocky
This big guy is so fun! Approximately 1–2 years old he is good with dogs and kids, if quite big and excitable
He know some basic commands and we’re working on manners and how to meet people and dogs appropriately without being on top of them
He is coming along nicely, and is searching for an active family ready to continue his training and teach him how to be the best big boy 
Rocky is a hound mix, and is more than ready to find his family and start his new life full of adventures and love! 
Chevy
This sweet girl is around 8 months old She is so sweet and just LOVES to be with people. She latches onto a person and loves them endlessly 
Chevy is looking for a patient home to continue her training She has been dealt a rough hand, but she’s safe and sound with us and looking for a family to love her, socialize her and spoil her Dogs make her a bit anxious when she’s out, but she has met most dogs politely so far. She doesn’t play well with chickens or livestock. She is very interested in kitties, maybe a little too interested 
She would be perfectly content being an only dog, but would do well with another dog with a proper introduction 
Big Barnabee
Barnaby is the cutest little shepherd mix, he weighs 42 pounds and is 3 years old. This love was set to be put down at a scary shelter and one of our fosters saw him and fell in love…which was super lucky for him! This love is good with dogs, kids, and interested in cats (still deciding how he feels 
)…and will make the best little best friend for a family!
Robyn
Robyn is about 1 year old, and is quite the handsome husky mix. He is very friendly with dogs, but still a little unsure of people. He likes toys and even almost plays fetch! He might take a little bit to get comfortable, but is a sweet and curious boy just looking for someone to teach him that people are loving and trustworthy.
Shadow
Shadow is the best boy! 
He minds well, loves to be with his people, and is good with most dogs when proper introduced. He prefers easy going dogs that don’t get up in his business 😂
He is very interested in cats 
and great with kids. He would be the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back dog to hang out with. 
He is crate-trained and potty-trained. Great in the house or out-and-about on hikes, camping, and everywhere else!
Tyler
Tyler is the sweetest, goofiest boy! He really REALLY wants to be with people, and loves his dog friends! He is soooooo ready to find his forever home…
His paperwork says 5 years old…but he seems much younger! Send us an email today to schedule a meet with this wonderful guy!
